It's not a "Kiss from a Rose" but a hug from his daughter that's making Seal smile.
On Monday, the pop singer and proud dad shared a rare photo with 19-year-old daughter Leni Klum on his Instagram. In the caption of the pic taken on the streets of New York City, with the two enjoying in a warm embrace, a grinning Seal honored her "for making me a better person."
Klum responded to the adorable photo in her dad's comments, writing "So cute, i love you papa" and adding a heart emoji.
The Grammy-winning singer, 60, married her supermodel mother, ex-wife Heidi Klum, in 2005 – they started dating in 2004 shortly after she found out she was pregnant – and officially adopted Leni four years later. The former couple also share three other children: sons Henry, 17, and Johan, 16, as well as daughter Lou, 13.
Seal and Leni Klum have appeared together in public infrequently over the years. They hit the red carpets at the premieres for 2021's "The Harder They Fall" and last year's "Shotgun Wedding" plus have been known to take in the occasional tennis match (like at the 2022 US Open).
Leni Klum, whose biological dad is Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, is an up-and-coming model and a college student studying interior design in New York City. She credits Seal and her mom for her work ethic.
"They have both taught me to be myself, and to do what makes me feel comfortable," she said in a People interview last October. "You can tell if you're not comfortable and then the best of you isn't brought out. I just think you should be open and honest with what makes you comfortable, be yourself, do what you love. And if you do all those three things then you're golden."
